Andy Schleck is fastest in the beginning but surprisingly, he looses time (2 seconds) on Jempy Drucker in the second, more difficult part of the circuit. Nick Clesen had fast start too and looses most of his time on Schleck (56 secondes) in the last part of the race.

km 0 Early in the morning(10h00), 23 junior riders take the start for 6 laps (90 km). Big favourite is the rider from Muhlenbach Andy Schleck, recently second of the Classique des Alpes and winner of the time trial 2 days ago.

1st lap First rider to attack is Ray Reuter, but he doesn't manage to stay away.

Andy Schleck is accelerating in the first lap already, and a group of 4 riders breaks form the peloton: Schleck, his teammate Jempy Drucker, Robert Schmitt and Nick Clesen. The strong riders are there.

2nd lap Nick Clesen has been dropped from the first group and is chasing behind to come back.

3rd lap The riders on the podium are probably already known, even if Drucker is struggling a little bit in the uphill parts and Clesen does not give up his chase, 2 minutes behind the leaders. Andy Schleck is mostly in front, but doesn't push to hard, looking back at his teammate.

5th lap Nothing new: Clesen is still chasing behind the 3, he will probably not be caught by the main group who is several minutes behind.

6th lap Andy Schleck attacks and goes for a solo victory.

Behind him, Drucker manages to get rid of Schmitt.

Nick Clesen in 4th position.

km 90 Andy Schleck is Luxemburgish National Champion 2003 in the Juniors Category.

A little bit more than a minute down, Drucker finishes 2nd.

Robert Schmitt crosses the line 12 seconds behind Drucker, raising his arms like the 2 others.
